The trade fair Centre in Accra bustled, and was swashed with commerce and business activities at the 2018 trade expo, but there was another stunning and scintillating twist to it which was a colourful cultural explosion.
Drums and cultural troops of all kind showcased an amazing astounding drumming and dancing feat with dexterity. Cocktails of different cultural drums beat and unleashed sound energy and rhythm, which generated reverberative ecstatic soul awakening and chaste African rhythm.
Elegant dancing Queens took their time and ambled their dancing steps with mathematical and cosmic precision which was in-sync with these healing rhythms wafting from the drums; as the arms of the men who beat the drums generate sweet rhythms, whilst their arms swung up and down. “Wogbedzeke” (the ancient historical journey that brought the various ethnic groups to Ghana) was the only nostalgic memory that comes to mind.
These immaculate professional dancers were clad in palatial African regalia that brought memories of the ancient African Queen to mind, as onlookers and bystanders formed rings of crowd to have a feast of their eyes of the jaw-dropping beautiful dance of the dancing Queens.
A man that deals in rich kente cloth for decades, beautifully adorned himself with a jungle green kente with yellow, red, black and green tapestry with a fusion of mauve and yellow patches.
