The Accra trade fair centre has been bubbling and buzzing with trade and business activities for the past twelve days with traders and business men and women displaying and showcasing their various goods and assorted items; from locally made kente fabrics, food and drinks, quality foot wares and even a sophisticated technological item like the fufu pounding machine just to mention a few.

The Accra trade expo which coincided with the independence day of Ghana on 6th march 2018 has generated a buoyant business atmosphere with tens of thousands of people milling and filing through the various pavilions of the trade fair centre for a brisk business activity. The numerous number of participants created a charged and electric atmosphere which has compensated for the sweat worth and the amount of money injected into this year’s trade expo by the organizers.

The business ambience has with been adorned and decorated with ribbons designed in the Ghanaian national colours; which gives an extra touch and an electric nationalistic feel and vibes to the immaculately organized trade expo.

However, the expatriate communities were not left out; they also joined the trade expo bandwagon. most of these expats dressed in outfits that were made out of kente and many other Ghanaian fabrics which will surely add to the circulation of foreign currency in the country.

The independence day of Ghana has added another emotional feel a very strong nationalistic spice to the trade expo, which convinced business men and women and most participants to believe the 2018 trade expo was a huge success compared to the previous sixteen years of trade expos.

Though the 2018 trade expo will come to an end on the 7th of March, participants are already looking forward up to the 2019 trade expo, which they hope will record another roaring success. The 2018 trade expo has been a successful business feather in the cup of Ghana.
